Community Integration Supports

Royal Metro College encourages students to become familiar with the local community and to participate in activities that support successful settlement and integration in British Columbia.

This information is available to prospective and current students before enrolment, upon arrival, and throughout their studies.

Students who are new to the community are encouraged to explore local services, connect with community resources, and participate in social and cultural activities.

Community Resources

Cultural and Social Integration

Students are encouraged to participate in local activities and community life, such as:

Transportation and Mobility

Public transportation is widely used in Metro Vancouver and provides access to surrounding communities.

Students are encouraged to use public transit to explore the region and participate in community activities.

Settlement and General Support

Students who require additional support adjusting to life in British Columbia may seek guidance from Student Services. The College may provide general information or refer students to appropriate community resources where available.
