Program Overview
The Hospitality Operations Certificate program is offered in collaboration with the ‘American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute”. Widely recognized as the preeminent leader in hospitality certification, the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI) certifies hospitality professionals in all facets of the hospitality, hotel and tourism industry.
The curriculum and training methodology ensures graduates acquire the knowledge, skills and fundamental experience needed work successfully in a range of hospitality/ tourism careers.
Upon completing all the requirements for graduation students will receive:
- Hospitality Operations Certificate from the College.
- Certificates of Specialization from the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA)
Admission Requirements
Applicants must have completed grade 12 or equivalent, or have mature student status (at least 19 years old)
Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through with prior education in English at grade 10 level or higher or through an English language assessment (IELTS 5 or equivalent).
The approximate equivalent to other English evaluation tests may include Cambridge,Canadian Language Benchmarks, CELPIP TOEFL; Track Test (CEFR), and others:
