What You’ll Learn

• Make-Up Artistry: Develop your creativity and technical skills to apply make-up for a variety of occasions, from natural everyday looks to special events.

How You’ll Learn

• Comprehensive Curriculum: You’ll progress through six meticulously designed courses, each focusing on a specific area of esthetics and lasting 8 weeks.

Admission Requirements

Applicants should meet the following basic requirements:

  • The Esthetics program start every month for flexible enrollment.

• How long does the program take?
  • Esthetics Diploma with Co-op: 2 years (83 weeks)

• How long does it take to obtain the graduation certificate after completing the Ethetics program?
  • Graduation certificates and official transcripts are typically issued within 2-3 weeks after all course components are completed and minimum requirements are met. For example: assignments, exams, practices, and/or co-op need to satisfy minimum passing grades. 

• What is the delivery method of this program?
  • The program is delivered in person. Please contact the admissions office at admissions@royalmetro.ca for more details regarding class schedules. 

• Does Royal Metro College help me find Coop jobs?
  • For students enrolled in the Esthetics Diploma with Co-op program, RMC can facilitate interviews at partnered shops in British Columbia. Students can find their own Co-op jobs. Once the job is verified by the college, it is considered eligible for Co-op hours. 

• If the diploma awarded by this institution is officially recognized and accredited?
  • Canada has one of the highest education standard systems. Royal Metro College is recognized by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) and Education Quality Assurance (EQA) of British Columbia. Graduated students can work as esthetics professionals worldwide.

• Is the program a valid educational credential assessment (ECA) that can get education points for Express Entry (EE)?

• When was RMC founded?
  • RMC was founded in 2005 as a career-training college in Coquitlam, BC.

• What courses/programs do you offer?
  • At Royal Metro College (RMC), we offer a wide range of diploma and certificate programs. Including Esthetics Diploma (with Co-op option), Hospitality Diploma (with Co-op option), Business Administration Diploma, Early Childhood Education Assistant (ECEA), Nail Technology Certificate, Pedicure & Manicure, Facial Certificate, Waxing Certificate, and Eyelash Extension Certificate (three levels). We also offer Intensive Academic Preparation (IAP) and English Studies (ESL) programs to accelerate students’ academic progress.

• Do you offer financial aid?
  • Qualified students can apply for StudentAid BC. They help with the cost of post-secondary education through student loans, grants, and scholarships. StudentAid BC also has programs that help with loan repayment.

  • All of our diploma programs are qualified for study permit applications. Students can apply for study permits within Canada or overseas. Royal Metro College welcomes students all over the world.

  • Yes, our diplomas are recognized worldwide, allowing graduates to work as professionals globally.

BC Student Loan

StudentAid BC empowers qualified students to pursue their post-secondary dreams by providing financial assistance through student loans, grants, and scholarships. They also offer support programs to help with loan repayment.

• How to apply for a loan?
  • Create a StudentAid BC Account using a BC Services Card account as your digital ID. All applicants need to set up a BC Services Card account to access the student loan application via the StudentAid BC Dashboard. Go to the StudentAid BC Login page and click “Login with a BC Services Card account” and it will guide you through the process.
  • Choose the post-secondary school you want to attend and determine the study period (registration period) for which you need funding.
  • Check to make sure your school is designated for StudentAid BC funding.
  • Figure out how much money you need to attend school:
    • Use the financial need formula
    • Complete a budget worksheet
    • Check your eligibility for the maximum funding limits
  • Apply online through the StudentAid BC Dashboard. Log in with a BC Services Card account, complete and submit the online StudentAid BC application. Prior to submitting your application, you will be asked to read the terms and conditions of the StudentAid BC Declaration and the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Consent for income verification then tick the consent boxes.
